Mechanical tests (Tensile, Compressive, Bending and High Temperature Bending Strength)

Mechanical Testing Equipment is used in determination applications of thermal behaviours (especially by using the high temperature unit based mechanical testing system), mechanical properties at high temperatures, and mechanical tests that requires less than 50kN power (tensile, compression, bending and shear test applications); of all ceramic, metallic and plastic materials at room temperature. Mechanical properties like Possion ratio, work energy, fracture toughness, fracture surface energy, deformation at break point, stress at break point, load values, Young’s modulus (elasticity modulus) and strength (tensile, compression, bending) can be measured. Besides the compression, tensile strength and bending tests, it is also possible to make shear, friction and creep tests. Using attached accessories like extensometers, stress measurements can also be performed. Integrated high temperature furnace and accessories let mechanical testing equipment of 50 kN capacity, perform mechanical measurements in temperatures up to 1500 °C.
